Dallas Bradel is a native of western Pennsylvania. She was a very little girl when she first met Jesus at a tiny Methodist Sunday school. And although her family weren’t regular church-goers, she has fond memories of attending Vacation Bible School, especially the summers when a Mrs. Griggs, with a large 1960s station wagon, drove kids from her neighborhood to a nearby Presbyterian church. The seeds God planted over the years led Dallas to seek out a church home when she went off to college. While studying German and Economics at Lehigh University, she was discipled by one of her sorority sisters. Dallas committed her life to Christ at about the same time she decided to go to law school.  And while she did complete her J.D. and pass the bar exam, her heart was by then firmly set on serving Christ in the local church. When Dallas told her mentor at First Presbyterian in Pittsburgh that she sensed God calling her to full-time ministry, she was told: “If you can be happy doing anything else, do it.” Dallas went off to Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Massachusetts with a heart for ministering to children and young families.  She earned a Master of Divinity and a Master of Arts in Counseling, then served as a Director of Children’s Ministry in Connecticut before being ordained in 2000 to serve as an Associate Pastor for Christian Education. ​ Over the past 25 years, Dallas has served churches in North Carolina, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut.  She has a passion for serving her Lord Jesus Christ, teaching God’s Word, and loving God’s people.  Dallas is also a trained interim pastor, and counts it a special privilege to walk alongside congregations during seasons of transition. In her spare time, Dallas enjoys leisurely walks, playing the piano, singing, reading, and textile arts.  As a self-proclaimed history nerd, she likes to explore museums, archives, libraries, and antique shops.

Ginny has been a member of Greenwood since joining with her family in 1978. She was active in the Youth Group, representing the youth of the Presbytery of Southern New England and attending a meeting of the Synod of the Northeast. She is closely involved in the work of the church as our Director of Family Ministries. Ginny is proud to have three generations of her family attend Greenwood and loves that she and her children participate in the Chancel Choir each week. A graduate of Rhode Island College, she teaches in the Providence school system, is a member of the National Association for Music Education, and is an instructor at the YMCA of Greater Providence. Her goals are to build and expand our elementary youth programs, to foster a knowledge and love of Jesus Christ in as many children as possible, to teach children that all things are possible with God and to instill in them a love and enjoyment of the ministries here at Greenwood and a lifelong faith in Jesus Christ.

Mary is a graduate of Rhode Island College with a degree in Computer Science and formerly worked in Information Technology at State Street Corp. She also recently worked as a tax preparer at M.W. Aragao in Cumberland.

Michael Kelly is Greenwood Community Church's music director. Originally from Cincinnati, he holds a PhD in Music Theory, along with degrees in music education and composition, from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. Over the last 30 years, he has been a public school music teacher and university music instructor, as well as the music director for four churches and numerous theatrical productions in Ohio and Vermont. Nowadays, Mike lives in Providence and serves as a staff pianist at the University of Rhode Island in addition to his role at Greenwood.

John Pickup has kept our building in immaculate condition for over 36 years, polishing the floors, maintaining the lawn, removing snow, painting, trimming, doing carpentry repairs and performing many other tasks of building maintenance. He supervises the overall use of the facility, sets up tables and chairs, keeps all furnishings in good repair, manages the audio and video equipment, and provides a multitude of additional assorted handyman services to help keep everything running smoothly.

Sue has an associate degree in accounting from CCRI. She formerly worked at Bank of America as a Financial Analyst and Trust Administrative Associate.
