Palm Sunday

On Palm Sunday we remember Jesus' triumphal entry into Jeruselem. It is the beginning of Holy Week and together we will walk with Jesus the via dolorosa toward the cross and the crucifixion.

Maundy Thursday

On Maundy Thursday, we remember Jesus' last meal with his disciples. We will celebrate the Lord's Supper, followed by a Tenebrae service of shadows

Good Friday

Good Friday is a service of prayerful vigil. Together we remmber the crucifixtion of Jesus and his final words from the cross.

Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday is the glorious celebration of Jesus Christ resurrection from the dead! In his resurrection, Jesus conquered sin and death. Through faith in him, we are offered forgiveness of sins and eternal life.

Advent

The four Sundays before Christmas are known as “the season of Advent.”  Advent is a time of reflection and preparation for celebrating the first coming of Jesus at Christmas as well as his promised second coming in glory.  Each week, our children assist with lighting a new candle on the Advent wreath as we journey toward Bethlehem.

Christmas Eve Service

On the evening before Christmas, we light the Christ Candle.  The candlelight service of lessons and carols recalls the Christmas story and the birth of the Christ Child on that Holy night so long ago.
